New York and San Francisco for the Holidays

4th January 2007

From the 19th to the 26th I was in NYC visitng my family who flew out for the week. The city was fantastic and we did all the touristy things: Empire State Building, Staten Island Ferry by the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Skating in Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Broadway show and seeing as it was Christmas, quite a bit of shopping too. On the 26th I flew to San Francisco to spend a week with my friends there and relax a bit.

I should start by saying I'm not in California at the moment. At the beginning of November another of the interns and I were relocated to Colorado so I'm staying about 10 miles out of Denver right now. It's pretty cool to see a different part of the States and we moved in plenty time for the ski season so we've been out doing that already.

I uploaded my photos to Facebook today and there are several moments of which I have no recollection of at all.

This weekend saw napes.co.uk moving home to a new server. My photo collection was getting too big to upload to the old place so I decided I'd shift everything here. Hopefully the new site will make it here by easter, though given how much of a challenge it's been and how little time I've had that remains to be seen.

Happy New year to everyone
